Is a business misusing this address?

If a company listing our Denver location has caused you a problem, or something about a filing or a piece of mail connected to this address does not look right, tell us. We read every report, we check it against our records, and we act on what we find.

First, what this address is

Our location is a commercial building in Denver with many tenants, and Denver Business Commons operates a licensed commercial mail receiving agency inside it. Businesses that receive mail through us hold their own suite numbers and pass federal identity verification before their first envelope arrives. Companies elsewhere in the building are separate tenants and are not our clients.

Anyone in the world can also type this address onto a state filing or a website without our permission and without ever being verified by us. State filing offices do not check addresses. That is the gap bad actors use, and it is the most common reason a stranger ends up on this page.

If a company claims this address and we have never heard of them, we want to know even more than you do.

What we will do with your report

What we cannot do

We cannot edit state filings; only the Secretary of State can correct a business record, and their complaint process is the official path. We cannot disclose a client's private information without legal process, and we cooperate fully when legal process arrives. And we cannot referee your dispute with a company; that stays between you, them, and if necessary the courts. What we control is whether they keep receiving mail here, and that we do control.

If someone used your home address

If you found this page because a company registered itself at your house, the fix is the Secretary of State's complaint process linked above, plus writing Return to Sender on anything that arrives. You do not need our help for that, but we are sorry it happened to you. It is the same abuse we filter for here, aimed at someone with no filter at all.

How to report

Email hello@DenverBusinessCommons.com with the subject line Address misuse report. Include the company name as it appears, what happened, and photos or copies of any mail or documents. Written reports give us a record we can act on and give you a paper trail.
